Project Freedom Ranch
What is new?
December 2013 - Vision for PFR is birthed by Len Wright & John Brooks at Eastland Mall, Bloomington, IL.

Website is published- (September, 2015)

Administrator- We brought on board an exciting addition to our team; Jenny Wilson! Her heart for helping is huge & will be an enormous asset. (October, 2015)

Elkhorn Stables in Estes Park- We met a wonderful couple Ivan & Amy Smith. Ivan & Amy have welcomed Project Freedom Ranch to use their facilities. Ivan & Amy know the power of the horse. They are a good hearted couple who already have some veteran friends taking rides with them. When you are in the Estes Park area we encourage you to come out & meet them, see their historic location, take a ride & even spend the night if you have the time. They have a great team of horses & some breath taking rides through the mountains; their prices are very reasonable & the experience is priceless! (October, 2015)

GO FUND ME PAGE- Thanks to Jenny Wilson (Administrator Extraordinaire, we have a site that you can support the troops. Until our non-profit status is accepted none of your donations will be taxed deductible.(November, 2015)

Veterans Day '15 - Lloyd Eckstein (President for Riverton Community Food Bank) had an informational booth at the local Safeway in Riverton, WY. He shared with us that he along with his wife Nancy are also supporting our veterans. As we shared our vision for PFR he encouraged us to pursue getting our 501(c)(3). (The same advice my old friend Ian Harrison share in 2014).

Para-Legal Pro-Bono - ... is helping us get all of our non-profit paperwork prepared for the IRS. He himself has a non-profit he's been directing since 2006 in Argentinian. His expertise in the area of the infamous 501(c)(3) is extensive & very
welcomed! (April, 2016)
  • Incorporation of PRF- Our first 501(c)3 step is finished!
  • Paperwork is ready to be processed through the IRS. $880.00 is the fee needed.
  • 501(c)(3) Paperwork has been received by the IRS (December, 2016)

501(c)(3) Non-Profit Approved by IRS!  (February 22, 2017)
